What should we pay attention to during the operation of Copper Rod Breakdown Machine?
1. Drawing emulsion:
Poor cooling effect of the drawing emulsion will directly affect the quality of drawing. The drawing emulsion enters the drawing emulsion tank through the heat exchanger or is directly injected into the entrance of the eye dies in the die holder.The drawing capstans are immersed in liquid during operation. Excessive temperature of the drawing emulsion directly affects the speed and quality of the drawing. Therefore, when the temperature of the drawing emulsion is higher than the maximum given temperature, the water inlet valve should be opened manually to allow the heat exchanger to cool the liquid.The drawing emulsion will decrease due to evaporation, so the drawing emulsion should be replenished from time to time. The concentration of the drawing emulsion should be 8% to 12% .When starting the cooler, do not open the cooler water inlet valve quickly because when a large amount of cooling water flows through the cooler, the surface thermal conductivity of the heat exchange tube will be very poor. Even if a large amount of water enters the cooler in the future, the result will still not be a good cooling effect. Depending on the water quality and drawing emulsion quality, internal inspection, and cleaning must generally be carried out every 5 to 10 months.
2. Copper wire cooling device:
The cooling water enters the cooling chamber through the plate heat exchanger to cool the copper wires. If the cooling water temperature is too high, the quality of the outlet wire will be affected to a great extent. The coolant in the cooling chamber should be 0.5% ~ 1%. The cooling chamber must be completely filled with emulsion to avoid oxidation and discoloration of the copper wire during the cooling process. The plate heat exchanger should be cleaned once every 1 to 2 quarters according to the cooling conditions to guarantee the cooling effect.
3. Annealing device:
The annealing wheel on the Copper Rod Breakdown Machine annealing device is insulated. When the insulation performance of the annealing wheel and wire passing wheel decreases or is not insulated, sparking or poor annealing will occur, affecting the quality of the copper wire, and even burning out the copper brushes. Maintenance personnel must perform regular inspections, always pay attention to the insulation performance of each insulation part, and perform timely maintenance.
When the wire wheel bearing is damaged, it will cause the copper wire to vibrate, which will cause the copper wire to spark when it rubs against the side of the wire wheel.
When the conductive nickel ring of the annealed copper wheel is severely grooved, or even the copper wheel is ground with grooves, the copper wire will spark and break. Depending on the wear of the conductive nickel ring, the positive nickel ring is generally replaced every 2 to 3 months, while the negative nickel ring lasts longer due to the small current. When to replace it depends on the actual situation.
In addition, the steam generator must have sufficient air supply, otherwise the copper wires will oxidize and turn black.
4. Wire storage device:
When the linear proximity switch of the storage line is damaged or not adjusted to the appropriate position, the tension of the storage line will be unstable and cause wire breakage. The operator should promptly check, replace or adjust the linear proximity switch. In addition, the tension adjustment will also affect the diameter of the copper wire. If the take-up speed is inconsistent with the drawing speed, the guide wheel will move up and down. The take-up tension can be adjusted through a manual pressure regulating valve according to different wire diameters and wire materials.
The wire storage guide wheel will wear grooves due to long-term use, which can easily cause unstable tension and wire breakage. Frequent inspections are required during operation. If there is any problem, the guide wheel should be replaced in time.
5. Other factors:
5-1: The raw material copper rod has quality problems such as dust inclusion and oxidation.
5-2: The drawing die is improperly selected, or the operator uses the wrong drawing die.The raw material copper rod has quality problems such as dust inclusion and oxidation.
5-3: The operator failed to adjust the annealing voltage. The annealing voltage can be set on the console. Regarding the adjustment of annealing voltage: adjust the potentiometer of the K value of the annealing voltage. Increasing the K value can make the wire softer, and decreasing the K value can make the wire harder. Because of the melting point of copper, if the K value is too high, the wire will become appropriately stiff. The annealing voltage not only depends on the annealing line speed, but also on the purity and elongation of the copper rod, and has nothing to do with the wire diameter. The annealing current is proportional to the square of the wire diameter and related to the annealing speed.
5-4: Traversing problem. Failure to keep the traversing flat will result in uneven distribution, affect the stability of the take-up tension, and lead to wire breakage. You can also use “manual traversing” to change the wiring direction and correct the uneven shape that has been formed.
