Wire Extruder Machine is mainly used to form an insulating layer or sheath by melting plastic or rubber at high temperature.During the extrusion process, it is easy to have defects in the quality of the extruded wire. The following are the solving methods and quality defects during the wire extrusion process.
1.Surface impurities or cooked rubber particles (early vulcanized rubber particles)
1.1 Replace the clean rubber material
1.2 Improve the rubber formula and appropriately extend the scorch time
1.3 Properly reduce the temperature of the fuselage, head and die
1.4 Improve the structure of the head, eliminate the dead corners and stagnant areas on the rubber flow path, and streamline the flow path
1.5 Polish the screw end, repair the screw or barrel bushing, and make the clearance meet the design requirements
2.Mechanical, physical and anti-aging properties are not qualified
2.1 When the rubber lacks sulfur, the steam pressure should be increased or the traction speed reduced
2.2 When the rubber is over-sulfur, the opposite measures should be taken when it is under-sulfur
2.3 Adjust the vulcanization system of the rubber formula, increase the positive vulcanization time, and make the vulcanization curve flat
2.4 Recheck the rubber formula to see if there is a problem when mixing (such as whether the antioxidant, vulcanization agent, accelerator is wrongly added or missed) or the raw material is wrong
3.Excessive insulation spark and unqualified insulation resistance
3.1 Increase steam pressure or reduce traction speed
3.2 Strengthen the filter rubber, and keep the rubber clean during transportation, warming and feeding to prevent impurities from mixing
3.3 The tension of the insulated wire core should be properly controlled, and the wires should be neatly arranged without crossing to ensure that the wire core is not flattened
3.4 Readjust the eccentricity and thicken the insulation
3.5 Perform pressure test according to the process
4.The surface is not smooth or scratched
4.1 Replace the appropriate mold cover
4.2 Improve the plasticity of the mixed rubber, appropriately increase the temperature of the warm rubber and extend the time of the warm rubber, such as the plastic rubber itself is small, can appropriately increase the amount of softener
4.3 Properly increase the temperature of the fuselage, head and die
4.4 Open the head to remove the debris or coke between the inner hole of the mold sleeve and the outer aperture of the mold core
4.5 Change sleeve
5.Eccentricity
5.1 Readjust the eccentricity
5.2 Replace the mold core or tighten the mold core
5.3 Replace the damaged mold
5.4 Remove the mold cover to remove any impurities or cooked glue
5.5 Increase pay-off tension to increase stability
5.6 Eliminate the snaking of conductor and cable core to ensure roundness
