Although various stranding equipment are not the same, but there is a common point in wire stranding process.After clarifying the standard requirements of the stranding products and selecting the equipment, the following work needs to be carried out.
1.Determine the outside diameter and pitch length
1.1 Determine the outside diameter and pitch length according to the product structure and technical conditions.
1.2 If it is a multi-layer strand, the outer diameter of each layer and the pitch length range of the layer should be calculated.
1.3 The calculated pitch length range or maximum, corresponding to the pitch range that the equipment can transform, determine the pitch length of each layer and determine the wire stranding direction.
2.Adjust the equipment
2.1 The required die for each stranding cage (layer) should be equipped.
2.2 The wire stranding direction also pushes the handle to the corresponding position as required.
2.3 Select the appropriate stranding cage speed and haul-off speed, and push the variable speed handle to the corresponding position according to the sign.
2.4 When several cages rotate synchronously, special attention should be paid to whether the direction of each layer meets the technical requirements.
2.5 If the stranding machine uses a change gear, it should match the change gear of the stranding cage, haul-off wheel and traversing according to the determined pitch length.
3.Prepare spool before start
3.1 Prepare full tray of pay-off spool and empty take-up spool.
3.2 Check whether the material and specifications of the single wire on the pay-off spool are incorrect.
3.3 Check whether the number of wire spool is sufficient.
3.4 Check whether the specifications of the pay-off spool and take-up spool are correct. After all the check are correct, you can plate.
3.5 After the pay-off spool is loaded into the pay-off stand, the initial adjustment of the pay-off tension is made.
3.6 For the wire stranding machine, it is necessary to carefully check whether the locking safety device of the wire spool is reliable to ensure safe production.
3.7 After the take-up spool is placed into the wire stand, the width of the traversing should be adjusted.
3.8 The speed of traversing (the pitch of the traversing) should be adjusted according to the outer diameter of the stranded product.
4.Lead threading work
4.1 Install the take-up stand wrapped with wire on the take-up stand, pull it forward to the haul-off wheel.
4.2 Wrap it 5 to 6 times according to the groove of the haul-off wheel, and pull it to the innermost wire connecting die.
4.3 Pull out the single wire of the pay-off spool one by one, pass through the conduit and guide wheel in a basically parallel order.
4.4 Pull the pre-twisted spool of the branch wire to the drawing die, and lead it to the haul-off wire respectively.
4.5 When pulling out the single wire, pay attention to adjust the tension size properly and uniformly.
4.6 At the same time, check whether the threading guide or guide wheel through which the single wire passes is damaged.
4.7 Check whether the threading path is correct to avoid scratches and bruises caused by the crossing of the single wire.
4.8 Take care to distribute the single wire as evenly as possible on the pre-twisted spool.
5.Check finished product
5.1 Check the outer diameter, pitch length and wire diameter of the twisted products.
5.2 Measure the outer diameter of the products with calipers
5.3 Measure the wire diameter with micrometers.
5.4 Check whether these values meet the specified requirements.
6.Check the safety facilities
After the completion of the above work, check the safety facilities.If it is normal, you can start the machine.
